curls and waves

Every Curl Tells a Story

Whether it's soft beachy waves, springy ringlets or beautiful coils, every child's natural texture deserves to be celebrated.

Yet many parents discover that curly hair comes with its own set of challenges. Hair can take longer to dry, become frizzy overnight or lose its natural definition if dried too quickly or with the wrong airflow.

The good news? A few small changes to your drying routine can make a big difference.

Why curly hair needs a gentler approach

Unlike straight hair, curls rely on moisture to stay defined. Rough towels, high heat and concentrated airflow can all separate the curl pattern, leaving hair fluffy rather than bouncy.

The aim is to protect the natural shape of each curl as it dries.

Our favourite routine

After washing, gently squeeze away excess water using a soft towel.

Apply leave-in conditioner or curl cream while the hair is still damp.

Attach the Born to Bounce Flexi Diffuser and choose Warm Glow or Gentle Breeze depending on your child's confidence and hair type.

Rather than moving constantly, cup sections of curls into the diffuser and allow them to dry slowly. This helps curls form naturally while reducing frizz.

Made for little curls

Most diffusers are designed for adults.

The AirHeads Born to Bounce™ Flexi Diffuser was created especially for children. Made from soft, flexible silicone, it's lighter, gentler around little heads and helps disperse airflow evenly to support natural curl formation.

Because every curl deserves a bounce.
